Default Grand Am problems

A friend of mine has a 90 something Grand Am. It idles ok but when put in gear it barely runs. Floor it to get 30 mph. I heard something about some kind of air flow sensor. Any ideas? This guy really needs help. he just moved here, broke looking for a job. Thanks yall.

Sounds like a MAP sensor problem. (All Grand Ams I looked up had MAP sensors.)

Here a video to help test the MAP sensor.
