Yeah man I am happy, she may still need some work, a pain job, and some detailing, but she is my baby.
If I could I'd put a nice hood with a scoop on, throw a K&N CAI on, and new headlamp assemblies from Spyder for the front and rear...
Man I could drop some loot in her, I'd put a brand new motor in her, but take my time changing to a stage 1 or two race cam, get some yella tera rockers, have all internals beefed up, and same with a new transmission, then get a nice tune and a way to stitch from regular driving mode, to good F**n bye mode, lol
Man now I have to put some Dyna Mat in a few places for vibration, my rear view, forget about it, it won't stay aimed where I have it, bass hits and it goes down, lol
I have a 1.5 farad capacitor on it, which is twice of what would normally be on it, but the interior lights still dim a lil, so I may get a second battery, or at least an overcharged alternator, seen a beast for 400$

Start with a good AGM battery. I use an Odyssey. New it tested out at 1320 CCA on a midtrronics load tester.
They are the most powerful battery, virgin lead, never a catastrophic failure, only slowly degrades over time. You can easily get 10-12 years out of them.
Stock 80 amp alts wont cut it. For the alternator, I went to Quality Power out of California.120 amp at idle. They have different levels of juice to select from. Mine 70K miles later is still perfect.

Forgot too add, I plan on upgrading the big 3, I just need to find where my block to chassis ground is, I'll upgrade them all with some nice fat 1 AWG wire..
I'll start a new thread for that when the time comes.

Delco AGM is a good battery, Should least 5-6 years thereabouts.
Good idea William on the big 3.
I added larger grounds & cables on the + side as well.

I am starting to wonder if he bled my coolant, and also I am confused, I look in my coolant res and it is almost empty, the coolant is green, shrugs...
Guess I'll be flushing and filling it, not sure which way to go though, I would not mind flushing totally and going with Zerex G05 I think it is, but I have always used Dex Cool...

Zerex G05 is for Chrysler /Jeep product known as HOAT.
Prestone make a Dex cool, I flushed mine out to Prestone long life many years ago.

Yeah I know, Zerex G05 is good coolant though, it is a hybrid organic coolant...
And it is what I found a few 3800 users from 3800forum.com switching over to.
HOAT and OAT'* are pretty similar from what I remember..

That link explains Dexcool pretty well, Rust inhibitors, I would hope so. Main thing is dexcool may be the best choice if you are flushing with tap water.
Dexcool addresses the hard water issue for less possible corrosion. I always use a Prestone premix anyways.

I hate spending a lot of unnecessary money, so I buy 100% coolant and mix it myself with distilled water, cause that is all they do..
I would have preferred they use Dex Cool, but they did not. and I am not sure why..
I know if maintained properly, and always having all air removed, then Dex Cool is not a problem..
