Default Air only comes out of defrost and foot vents

Hello,

After doing some work under the hood the other day, I am now only getting air flow from the defrost and floor vents. This is for both AC and heat. Probably bumped some vacuum hoses? Thanks in advance.

There should be a vacuum line that goes threw your firewall that controls the HVAC system. I can't remember where that nibble is right now, but I'm willing to bet you hit it and may have broke it off.

Is that on a Bonneville?

Hmm, that would make sense Danthurs. I feel air coming out from the gap beneath my after-market stereo as well if that aids that theory at all.

Yes, 94 Bonneville SE.

There is a vacuum box on the firewall. It'll be next to the vaccum booster and should have a vacuum line and check valve going to it. Make sure both of those are in good shape. The most common issue with them is dry rot and the line pulling off.

I suspect you'll come back with vacuum hose black fingers when you touch it.

Easiest fix I've ever had! Located directly behind trans dipstick for future reference. Right in plain sight. Thanks a bunch

Default Update!

Solved the starting issue, I had pulled a couple of fuses for the airbag (airbag system) & (airbag system-PASS KEY) I thought pass key meant the key used to turn off the airbag. I pulled them in case of accidentally setting off the airbags. I put the fuses in and BOOM fired right up! Now I have to figure out the other issue.. I seen the actuator move back and forth so it’* not broke, maybe a vacuum line
