Default 99 Bonneville stalling.

Hi guys,

I have a 99 bonneville 3800 non-supercharged. Starts fine. Runs fine for about 2-5 minutes at idle and then stalls. Starts right back up. May not stall at idle again if I leave it running for ten minutes or so after first stall. May or may not stall while driving. I do not hear the engine rev but, I see the tach jump to about 2500 rpm just before it stalls and I hear the ding ding ding as when you first turn key to accessories. If it trys to stall while driving I can usually punch the accelorator and it will keep it from stalling completely. I have new MAP sensor, new MAF sensor, new Idle air control valve, new crankshaft position sensor and new fuel filter. Check engine light was on for about 2 weeks but is no longer on. Got me stumped. Any clues?

Thanks,

Joe

Codes said MAP, MAF and Crankshaft position sensor. All three changed. Light stayed on. Disconnected battery for about 30 minutes and CEL disappeared for about 3 days. Light back on today. Going back to have it checked. Checked FPR. Seems to be fine.

Someone thought that possibly a bad fuel pump relay might be causing stalling. Does fuel guage run through the fuel pump relay? I ask because, all the guages drop to zero when it stalls except the fuel guage which would lead me to believe relay is ok if the guage does run through the relay.

Got an ICM from junkyard. Runs like a champ. No stalling. Thanks for your help.
