I can't really find the wire after it leaves the ignition. All of the wires are so dirty in the engine bay I can't tell what color they're supposed to be haha. For now though I ran a switch off of the starter as a temp fix until I find that darn wire. Works great except the 2 year old gas in the tank is causing some issues so I gott siphon that all out and get fresh gas in there. Throw some cleaner in there with it.

can you find the yellow and purple at the trans, that should be alot more accessible, which is why i suggested it. at most you shouldnt have to take more than the air tube off to see the top of the trans

I can see the wires I just need to get a toothbrush and scrub them clean. I'll check it out after work and post an update.

ok, simple green usually works pretty good on the grease without being to caustic to paint and wire insulation
