96 Bonneville Oil Pressure/Engine Knock problems

Harmonic balancer won't cause the oil pressure to drop. Unless you were revving 7000rpm and the balancer went unbalanced and fubard the crankshaft.

There is something interesting....I turned on the car just now and the noise is gone. So obviously the noise only comes when the oil pressure decreases.(Which means the oil gets to thin)
I also revved it and I did not hear any knocking/ticking. So I revved it really heard to 4k and I heard the slight knock.
Maybe there is a slim hope it could be something else. (I doubt it though)

Reason why I say replacing oil with a much thicker oil will help is because this will give the engine more time to stay at a stable oil pressure and engine knocking won't occur as fast.

The bearing clearances also increase due to thermal expansion. They are usually quiet when cold, but get louder as the heat increases.
