Default 92 Pontiac Bonneville ssei instrument cluster

Hello everyone, I have a quick question about the Speedo gauge cluster in my 92 Bonnie ssei.I have had several problems with my gauges bouncing, dic & compass flickering in & out in the 17 year'* that I have had her.I have removed the instrument cluster 3 different times and resoldered just about all the components and it will last for some time. It'* starting to do all of the above again but this time the gauges are not coming back on. So I think it has done it'* time. The part# for mine is 16147862. I have found a donor Bonneville ssei but it'* a 1997model . The part# for this one ( By what the owner is telling me). Is 17530841. I have been trying to research this and can't find what I need to know.It looks identical to mine,But I am not certain they will interchange. So my question is what is the difference between the 1992 and the 1997.speedo gauge cluster??. Thank y'all in advance for any help on this.Hope everyone has a good day, And thanks again.

You could go down to a GM stealership *cough, I mean dealership parts dept and have them cross the part numbers. They should be able to tell you if it will work or not. But I doubt it, considering 1992 was OBD1 and 1997 was OBD2.
