Default Instrument Cluster Question

Is it possible to get a dash cluster that has a tach without the whole gauge cluster. All my car has is the idiot lights and a temperature gauge. If I swap my cluster for the whole gauge cluster I'll have to replace all my switches on the engine so they work with gauges instead of dummy lights. Also my car is a column shift. If anybody knows about the different instrument clusters let me know.

Thats what I had...I could never own a car without a tach...

Not sure if the "tach"less LE will accomdate the dash cluster with a tach, the wiring may not be in place

Our Bonneville LE has the full gauge cluster minus the compass. I would troll the junkyards for the full cluster, then someone here might be able to see if the wiring is the same. I will study my Haynes schematics in the meantime to see if there was a difference

As you may know, my Olds has NO Gauges whatsoever(except for the Speedo & Gas). I would love to be able to change wording of any of the Idiot Lights to say simply "You're so Screwed"!(note: I was going to use that other word but children may be watching).
