Default 2003 grand prix ....fuel filler door hinge?

seems like hinges are broken, the filler door does not fit tightly and is sagging, how would one remove the fuel door/hinges from the body for inspection?
Thx.

Pull the gas cap off, then there'* 2-3 7mm screws holding the plastic around the neck. Remove those and the plastic piece. Behind the body at the hinge are 2 10mm nuts holding the hinge on.

Hope you get that taken care of. That would annoy me every time I stopped for fuel.

I'd suggest a pivot head ratcheting wrench for the nuts. Gearwrench makes a heck of a set in the XL'*. Just saying..justify the tools
