1995 bonneville supercharger knock
I recently had the nose bearing in the supercharger replaced. After about 500 miles of driving the car started loosing power and then starting heating up and knocking bad. I believe the knocking is coming from the supercharger and the nose cone bearing that was replaced may have broke.
Can someone tell me if i can replace the nose cone bearing with out removing the supercharger. It is the phase 1 3800 engine.

You will need to remove the snout to change the bearing. And I don't believe that can be done on the engine with a series 1. Remove the belt first, then check for play with the pulley. Turn it back and forth, if there'* play, then it'* the coupler that is the problem.
