JW, when I get that far I plan to go EFI. I'm a old carb guy but it'* about time I step into the 21st century, LOL. I plan to run the boost from the */C to an intercooler and then into a plenum with a throttle body (or two). I need to know where the intercooler will end up being mounted before I build the plenum. I want everything to flow as well as possible, for good efficiency and a simple installation.
Mike. It is exactly that. The recast the block minus a bank and filled it in. It makes big 4 cylinder and a heavy 4 cylinder. It'* just an old cool motor to play with. Probably never see another one at a car show.

There are so many choices out there to run the electronics. I also feel that there are so many used units from stalled/ended projects or left over units from upgrades for 4 cylinders, I should be able to find a pretty good, higher tech system to run it. We'll see as time goes by. Hope, hope. LOL. Especially if I should at some time shelve the blower and go turbo. There'* so much stuff out there with turbo control capabilities too. Should be some really good units to find.

My main reason for the blower is to see just how street worthy I can make the little (relatively speaking) 4 cylinder for lower rpm response and power. If this thing proves itself strong off idle (such as the blower still not really adding any pressure off idle) I may go turbo right away. I plan to run it on the street a lot, so It has to have a lot of off idle response. I live here in the Phoenix area and there are A LOT of street lights to get very sick of a soggy bottom end.

My favorite game of cat and mouse between the lights.

Between street lights it'* all about torque and traction. Got to have off idle response and power. Yeah Baby!!!! That'* big block territory. I want my little Indian to think it'* 7 foot tall, LOL.

Megasquirt is high on the list. I read somewhere if you combine one of the older megasquirt units, like an MSII, with some other unit add on unit form Megasquirt, you can have all the capabilities of a Megasquirt III or whatever the latest unit is, at half the price. But I can't remember the specifics, or, I just made it up??? LOL. Gotta look for that again

i dont know much about it other than what ive read on this and different forums, but there was a guy that used to frequent this site that did a build thread. he had a 90 grand prix with a swapped 3.5, and a turbo and he controlled it with a megasquirt. seemed pretty cool. there are also a couple kawasaki atvs with them on one of the other forums
