Vice grips should only be used after a blt is rounded off....All they do otherwise is well round them off

Sometimes I use a vise grips to hold a nut where I can't reach around and hold on to a wrench.

well yeah but i never use em on line fittings unless there is absolutely no other option

Well ya, they do make a line fitting wrench for that. Well worth having if your going to work on brake lines.
