Didn't get that air mix fixed eh?

I'm aiming for no ticks or knocks. How long will you deal with the tick before considering changing something.

Bill, you used old lifters. I used CompCams lifters with a shorter pre-load. I'm not worried about lifter tick for now, especially when it goes away once warmed up.

Topic in General Chat on the airmix for the SLE.

Next up? Exhaust work. Need to repair the crack in the front manifold, get the wideband O2 bung welded in, and another super-secret magic exhaust change that a couple of you know about. It'll be here this afternoon via UPS.

My downpipe is 2.5" INSIDE diameter, very wide open considering what'* upstream (great flowing ported EM'* and high-flow downstream). I have another plan that will suffice for the flow, but it may also have to include cat replacement. On that note, this one was replaced (by me) 5 years ago, and I've played with my fueling alot. I'd bet I'm due already anyway.

Got a couple new wiring harnesses to run into the cabin now. Going to be a bizzy weekend for the Zilla.

Nice electric cutout Bill. I was thinking about doing that with my up coming exhaust work but I've decided against it for the time being due to the budget.

That wasn't in the budget until I got a small bonus at work. I'd actually purchased it first, after arguing with myself for a few days. The price was right, noodles and rice are cheap, got it, then the bonus came in. Good timing. Figured I could sell the Honda any time to offset it.

This is a full-blown QTP with controller. And a wideband O2 bung for the new gauge/sensor/software logging setup.
