no the 5% is really not that dark to see out of at night due the the street lights and car passing in the other direction. the only time it gets difficult to see is when i am on back roads with no lights and taking a corner gets a little difficult to see. it use to be a pain to park.but i solved that by leaving my passenger mirror angled down and rolling down my window.
