Default Wanted - Source for Phenolic Block

i have an idea niggling at the back of my mind that i would like to try out. i need a block about 1/8 - 1/4 thick by maybe 8 inches wide by 12 inches long.

anyone have a good source for it? cheap

or please suggest a suitable substitute that can take engine temps.

Delren will take several hundred degrees and can be machined like aluminum.
I've got a block of it here, and can get more.

The block I got is 1 inch thick , about 10"x14"(I think) and cast me about $100.
Thecstuff is damned expensive, but it'* what I could find for what I'm doing.
There'* a plastic supply place here in Columbus on 5th Ave, I picked it up from their cast-offs.

I went the same route for some time, then chose to ditch the expensive phenolic and make the prototype, and perhaps the final design, out of aluminum and seperately cool it.
