looks very nice.. But issue with us Canucks is that we MUST have a muffler if the car came with one.. so how would this be done? Run without muffler.. get ticket possibly.. run with muffler.. lose boost.. unless there'* a dummy muffler case the turbo can hide in

But will the heat soak from lack of coolin air hamper the efficiency?

It can handle a lot. There are a few on club GP that are running 18psi with the Gen V M90! There are some turbo guys that are in the low-mid 20'* IIRC on the stock bottom end. My dad ran 16psi with his Gen 3 M90 before the cam, now its only ~14psi, and thats with completely stock bottom end and heads and all that. Basically the L67 bottom end is pretty damn strong.

ZZP sure is taking a long time with their supercharger

This looks nice. Videos of the GTO on the STS site are awesome.

At least there are options to make an l36 fast. Maybe too many choices

I've got a question... from their FAQ page, they're a little ambiguous about it, but do they swap the compressor and tubine sides of the turbo for this type of application?

That would be soooo sweet...

INTENSE recently became an official distributor for Squires Turbo Systems, commonly referred to as STS. This company pioneered the remote-mounted turbo and holds the patent for it. Just like INTENSE they are a true innovator and the quality of their kits is top-notch. We are proud to be able to offer you this kit in conjunction with them. INTENSE worked long and hard to come up with the proper pipes, pipe routing, dimensions, and under hood work to make this the easiest, cleanest and best performing bolt on turbo kit available for the 3800 community. While the current solution is only ready for N/A :L36/L26 w-bodies other applications will quickly follow.
I think he means the 3800 series II and III

Todd, will this kit be made for just the 2000+? Or will it also work on previous generations? Also what about cars with dual exhaust cutouts, will just one side be used?

The kit will be easily adaptable to other applications and while it may take some time to fit the kit to those applications it should work no problem for any vehicle with the 3800 Series II or III N/A or Blown.

does the remote mounting cancel out the need for a turbo timer to keep the car idling to cool the oil?

One tailpipe. . . . : :? Kinda fugly on a car that has cutouts for 2 - esp. since once you mount one of these that is all anyone is ever going to see of your car.
