OOh.. I"d love to have a Supbo ( Super turbo'd ) intercooled..

how much boost do you think the stock SSEI bottom end can handle? ( seems like a few people here are runnig around 14 PSI on stock bottom end of an SSEI? )

Very cool.....so it works with the L27 eh? What are the chances of this set working with an LN3? Maybe with a few modifications?

That would be soooo sweet...

hrm. maybe i'm just old fashioned, but turbos generate power based on pressure and temperature. I could certainly see maintaining a fair amount of pressure to the back of the car, but...

ah, just label me a heretic...

You may want to check out the FAQ page listed in the initial post. It may answer a lot of your questions or doubts. As for performance I just heard from the owner of the car who went to the track. He is trapping at 104-105 which is easy 12 second power. He is on street tires however and getting 2.2+ launches so he is only running high 13'* (plus its like 90+ out).

yeah, I read that already...

not for me, but i'm glad there'* an option available for those who wanted an easier route to a turbo.

don't suppose you guys have a dyno run showing lower than 3600 RPM'*? that would be interesting to see, me thinks...

Impossible unless we lock the converter (which probably wouldnt survive the power) otherwise it kicks down a gear if we stomp it before that.

the problem with that is the gearing in the tranny.. in order to see that low of a RPM the car would have to downshift and not actually show it.... and we all know that downshifting on the dyno is a big No-No... and if the pull was done in 1st the PCM would automatically upshift into second at the end of the pull

...please correct me if im wrong....

i saw this kit in action tonight at Kil Kare. Really nice kit! Lots of power and Mike Murphy didn't have it turned up very high. Awesome times.

i am jealous! :(
