I may not be out of the way, but rather right along the way. Depends on if I pick him up, which we don't yet know. Keep your fingers crossed!

I got my ssac headers on today, i still have to get a wbody tans dipstick tube, i bent the stock one to fit but now its leaking tranny fluid like crazy, also i had to move the driver side radiator fan but cutting the radiator over to get more clearance. as for the trans mount i ran a bolt through the metal and rubber part for now, i have one exhaust leak using their (ssac) clamp on the downpipe, so im welding that up tomorrow, i also had to extend the 02 harness by 8inches to fit to the bung on the header. I also will post pics later tonight of everything. I have 3 questions...
1. the ticking noise from the flex pipe..i have exhaust wrap to wrap it up, but will it go away? and what exactly does it sound like?
2. why would i be leaking tranny fluid of the tube is in the whole with the rubber seal?
3. did anybody notice the exhaust quit down after installing headers? I basically have a straight pipe all the way back with high flow cat and it seems a lot quieter now that the headers are on..could the exhaust leak make this quieter?

Nice! This may be the third NA Bonneville with headers!
Answers:
1. I think there'* a different type of flex pipe that you should get, which is what I think people have done to avoid the ticking sound. Wrapping it in header wrap is probably going to help, but it'* just more stuff to hold water around your exhaust and help it rust.
2. The fluid may not be leaking still if the tube was taken out and put back in. You may have just dripped some fluid out of there. Also, it'* very unlikely but still worth mentioning that the seal could have been broken during the bending process.
3. My exhaust got louder with headers, so if your exhaust was loud due to an exhaust leak before, and you fixed it now with headers, then it should be relatively quieter.
Is it all bolted back up & such? All running?

Yeahp everything is running now, the seal on the tube was bad and i went to ez pull and bought 5 tubes haha,( wbodys have 3 different types) i got the right one and its all good, i still have that exhaust leak on the downpipe, and I didnt have an exhaust leake before i installed the headers...my exhuast was louder with the stock manifolds...all i have is a high flow cat no muffler or resonator
