Thinking of Limited Slip
I got an email back from Auburn gear.
"From the information you are giving me, it appears that you should have an 8.5 10 bolt unit in this vehicle which we do offer".
Does this sound right...are our front ends 8.5" 10 bolt unites?

I have some thoughts and guidance on this.
When was the last time you had a single wheel burnout in a straight line?
I burn twins with both cars at will any day of the week in a straight line. An LSD would benefit you more on a road course than a dragstrip. For what you'd gain, I think that $700 US (I've priced them) would be better spent elsewhere. Slicks would be a good choice.

From what I've been told, yours won't as long as you do straight burnouts so each side is evenly loaded. My trans shop talked me out of one. It would have only been $300 more than I paid. They beefed up the stocker. (totally built from scratch HD monster diff).
