Performance, Brainstorming & Tuning Talk about modifications, or anything else associated with performance enhancements. Have a new idea for performance/reliability? Post it here. No idea is stupid! (please use Detailing and Appearance for cosmetic ideas)

SLE is staying for a year.$400 for perf. parts, what to get?

After the Tstat, intake and pcm would you all do PEMs + downpipe or rockers first? I'll only have enough for one or another =/

I've talked to a bunch of people too because I've considered doing alot of what you had there and don't take my word, but wait for guys like Willwren and Billboost37, et cetera to speak up... But I've been told to start with the exhaust system from the manifolds first and work your way back, then look at the engine internals.

15.6-15.8 isnt exactly fast for a car at the track. Dont hate just my opinon. I would tint your windows and buy some clear corners, maybe some window vents with the 4 franklins. Something youd enjoy every time you drove and looked at your beauty. Whatever you do dont start yanking out seats and stuff. Why do you have a timetable on your bonnie anyway?

With out a doubt especially when you consider its a 6 cylinder. But whats fast and whats not is all relative. I'm not trying to knock this one bit because when it comes down to it Its what makes you happy. I grew up in dallas and went to the ennis drag strip a couple times a year. After seeing those funnies and drag cars qualify on Sat the
street legals would go. Even the 12, 13 second mustangs camaros appeared like turtles, quiet turtles at that I know its not fair comparison but thats where I coming from on the whole 1/4 thing.

Vig ask for opinions on performance mods but the cold hard facts are the bonnie is no championship dragster modded or not. For the most part 400 dollars in performance mods is a drop in the bucket (.2 or .3 secs?) vs. 400 in cosmetic mods is substatial. Just my 2 cents worth. All you mod guys please dont bash me I was just throwing out my suggestion on the 4 hunge.

I see both sides. If you are planning on selling in a while the best is probably not to mod the engine much. It makes people leary of buying.

Well Ive already got many cosmetic mods silver93SE, 32% tint, hella angel eyes, interior lights, I'm just looking for more spunk now.

Would it be possible to hit in the 14s without an aftermarket cam?

Nitrous is too risky, no way I'd ever run with that stuff.
