In fact, I will be running 1.6'* on my intake and 1.5'* on my exhaust pretty soon on my STE.
Why don't you just put your stock exhaust and cat back on. Aren't they all 1.6'* now?

My car is a 1990 with a 3.1L. Stock rockers are 1.5'* in that car. I'll be getting some 1.6 roller rockers like I had on my Lumina for the intake. My cam is pretty small (.427 intake/.454 exhaust) and I'd like to get the intake lift up a bit.

Confused about what you're talking about stock exhaust and cat????

No problem Shawn. Just a misinterpretation on my part. I thought you had 1.6 rockers and were for some reason going to reduce the lift on your exhaust which would be equivalent to increasing your backpressure.
I know you are smarter than that but maybe you were, as PDad thought, going to install a different cam.
