I have something coming that claims 98% reflectivity of radiant heat in the engine bay, and was specifically designed for this application (intake pipe).

Hold for a couple days until I can get it checked out. (It'* on the way).

No matter what anyone has done or wants to try, Will has tried it, disproved it scientifically, or has improved it. Always one step ahead.

When it gets here, I'll see how it compares to what I have, and to a bare pipe as well.

Since Peter asked, Here'* pics of the stuff I have available. I don't have the huge rolls, that'* for production, lol, but there are tail pieces of 2-3 feet by 6 feet that are fall-off.

thats the stuff I used on my old car, worked great. I put 3-5 layers on the engine side of the intake and then used one or two for the rest. The car had the same amount of power cold as it did when it warmed up, something I did not have with just the pipe.

Didn't come today, so it SHOULD be here tomorrow. The only reason I'm not being specific is I don't want everyone running out to buy it before it'* actually tested and proven to match the claims.
