I was looking for some also Hans. I saw some foil tape that was 2" X 50 yd. for $6.45. I think we are both thinking about doing the same thing to our rice pipes. This was on the Home Depot site.

I have that on my ADTR intake pipe. Greyhare has it on his setup as well. The 2" wide aluminum backed spongy insulation tape from Home Depot. Mine will be replaced soon however, with a product that I hope will be more effective.

For anyone going to WCBF, I have a big roll of the stuf Will and I used.
It isn't pretty, and I don't know how effective it is, but you are welcome to it.

It'* closed-cell foam insulation with foil both sides with a 10.5 R-value. Premium stuff that we use in the upscale manufactured housing industry. It'* better than most stuff you'll get from Home Depot and is thinner (3/16") and more flexible for wrapping.

Any NE'ers can get some from BillBoost if you want it. Anyone else can get some from me for veeerrrry cheap, basically shipping plus just a bit for me cutting and packing it.

PM me or Boosty for more info.

BTW, I recommend using aluminum foil tape to apply if you want a clean job of it.

I have seen the stuff that Lowe’* sells in 50’ rolls sold by the foot at Orchard Supply Hardware. But I think they are a west coast chain. Maybe Quality Farm and Fleet or something similar would have it. Sounds like the stuff from Iash is better anyway.
