PVC ABSORBS heat, outgasses toxic crap when heated, and won't hold it'* shape in engine bay heat. That'* the worst thing you could use.

Ther ARE higher temp PVCs, thuogh usually not found in Home Dumpo, but even those can release Chlorine gases if overheated...

well it was a thought i seen it done on a 1995 supercharged 3800 with a k&n air filter and i thought that would work and i would save money in the process but i think that it wouldnt work good for are flow

thats what i thought cause of the fact that i would have to use to joints in order to make it fit and it would be ugly looking and horrable for performance

and why have a crappy pipe and a sweet filter on a clean motor

would putting on a new air tupe

but a weather rotted k&n filter

hurt any

or would that affect my breathing problems

give the K&n a recharge before you install it and you should be fine

thats good

but it has been in the sun,rain,snow,cold,and heat fo 3 years

and looks ugly i think it used to be red now it looks like a dark maroon

i imagine if i blow it out with an air house

it will be fine

dude....you need to buy a K&N recharge Kit....DO NOT use the fitler untill you get teh recharge kit
