How will the extra flow affect the fueling on the front bank of cylinders? Considering that only one O2 sensor is in place, I would think that the extra breathing room would lean out the front bank, or would it richen the rear? Any custom tuning required or was it plug and play?

The results have been mixed on several forums I have read. Some say it ran great . Some had fueling issues (had to adjust fueling by 1-3%). Some people said the saw little improvment.

Bottom Line

Results will vary.

I didnt have any "extra" tuning done for this, just installed it. I installed my DHP 1.0 in the same week that I put this in, so its hard to gauge exactly how much power I got from this but I definitely know the combo of the two made considerable difference. In regards to extra tuning, I bought it because ZZP advertised this as a very simple effective mod; however I do have all intentions on purchasing the rear PEM when I have the extra money.

What do u mean by adjust fueling? I guess what Im asking is how did they know they needed to adjust there fuel and how did they do it.
I read that the ZZp discovered that richening the front three banks would resolve some issues people were having with the powerlog. I beleive using the tuner they were able to see the readings to warrant the adjustment.

In other words, as I mentioned long ago in this old topic, the flow balance is not equal. The powerlog outflows the rear, causing tuning issues.

I predicted it.
