Default Muffler mounting ideas

Well I ordered my Flowmaster 80 today. I'm going to have to cut the pipe to take the old muffler off (the original one). I'll need an enlarger to go from the 2" pipe to the 2.5" inlet on the Flowmaster. I'll have to find something to bolt to for the hanger to support the tail pipes. Does anyone have a good pic of this or know where to bolt to? I'm going to use the stock hanger to support the pipe before the muffler.

Your stock pipe is either 2.25 or 2.5"
Mine was 2.25"

Why do I question you guys? It'* 2.25....

So if I can continue being stupid.... It'* a 2.5ID inlet on the flowmaster so I need a 2.25OD to 2.5OD to do it, right?

2.25 ID to 2.5OD. You want the coupler to fit OVER the exauhst pipe, and INTO the muffler.

Haro, those pics are awesome! Why did you overlap the pipes? The muffler hangs down a bit aren't you likley to get it caught on something?

Well, I got the muffler on... It'* louder than I expected. Not sure if I wanna keep it. I'm glad I haven't pulled the resinator or changed the cat.
