m90 ss
So what do they do with the PCM for this conversion and is it available for the 95-96 bonneville since they have the 4T60-e tranny and obd 1.5?
I have two candidates for this if they want to test it on a 98 LTZ, I'll gladly ship it out there as a test mule. What'* the worst that could happen, I blow up my 146k motor... That'* where the GP GT comes in

For a thousand bucks it'* not quite a deal but you'll definately get good bang for your buck. Figure a L67 swap is going to cost you between 1000-1800$ when all is said and done. And from what I've been told the HD tranny is not all that different from the standard 4t65e.

Seriously, a new M90 is more than a grand. All by itself. From the wrecker maybe cheaper, but they're not going to be that easy to find.

The 1K estimate isn't coming from us. It'* just the word on the street. It will probably be more, but it'* still more practical than buying a different car, or swapping an engine. This is good for the bolt-on kind of person who wants more HP.
This is what zoomer said over on clubgp a couple weeks ago:
"If you have a 2001 Grand Prix or newer with none of your own parts it would be a worst case scenereo for pricing. In that case you would be out:
$1,384.98 for intake, blower, fuel logs, pulley system. Then you would need the install kit with the additional fuel pressure regulator (i think, we haven't verified which cars have the new style regulator). You would also need the coil pack bracket. Those things will probably put the install kit and instructions around $100 or so. Total kit price would be about $1500 plus you have to buy oil, coolant, oil filter and some tools if you don't have any. Worst case you'd be looking around $1600.
If you had a 1998 GP and already had a blower and intake the install kit would be the cheapest and you wouldn't have to pay $500 in core charges. This would put the pricing under $900 for the main stuff and under $100 for the install kit. Then you'd have to buy oil and coolant yet."

well i have talked to a few people and alot of the gpers are getting it and i am considering it. I have been told my tranny is good up to 300 crank hp. ANd with it i will still be under. Plus with this it will be a 4.2 pulley to start producing about 5 pounds of boost giving about 40 hp and taking a half a second off your 1/4 all estimates of course. but yea that is what i have been told.
