I can see HI being of use, but a low speed setting? Those with auto climate can just kick on auto and the fans come on in low speed anyway (at least 2K+). Nice job on this though Bill.
What if you just spliced into the fan wiring. You could just run a wire straight from the battery. You could still use a 2 or 3 speed switch. It would just be a resistor swich. This way the PCM wouldn't be able to read it. Yet, when it wanted it on it would still work just fine. What do you think? Let me know what works though I definitely need this as well.
Glad, you're gonna be different. Hook up with someone who has the FSM for your year. You need to find, then ground through a switch, the high speed fan relay. That simple.
ok I was right after all. The only thing I can't understand was I found out one of my relays was bad. I believe it was the high speed relay. Cause after replacing it now my temp gauge never goes over half. Before it would peg out next to the red. So maybe I won't need to do that wiring yet.
