This weekend, I'm wiring up a manual fan override switch. For both low and high speed cooling fans.
A 3-position switch. NORM is the center position. For normal PCM controlled fan operation. Low would be to force the low speed fan on, High for the high. May put in some status lights so I know at a glance what mode I'm in, as the switch may be hidden.
I'll do a blow-by-blow with pics so you can see which wires we do this with.

For us cheapos, to achieve high fan speed at the track or on those 100+ degree days unplug the pressure relief valve for the a/c system. The fans will go on high speed until the valve is plugged in again. Thats the free way out for the fan mods.
