This is going to take us sleepers to a new level. I'm going to try this oput on my Bone first because the tranny was overhauled about a year and a half ago. I'm thinking an LSD, and if babied off the line ..... we may se some deep stuff. Think raising my shift points up about 200rpm may not be so bad as well.

Yea, the roots blower is the only thing that gives you that instant torque, which is fun, but not good for the drivetrain.
actually that'* not true... a Lysholm supercharger will give you the same low end torque as a roots blower, and in addition is much more efficient due to the fact that it is a compressor as opposed to the roots which is just a blower(just moves air from the inlet to the outlet, does not compress it).

i wouldnt raise the RPM without some valvetrain work. Valve float can be a bitch.

i wouldnt raise the RPM without some valvetrain work. Valve float can be a B****.
From my experience, raising to 6k w/ stock valvetrain is no problem, moving up to 6300 with only LS6 springs is going to make valve float, and soon i'll find out if OR pushrods will cure the valve float at 6300.
all valve train is going to act diffrently acording to mileage and such so that'* why i said from my experience.

why did you raise your limit to 6300? Arnt you past the power peak?

He should be well past his power peak...unless he has a cam...don't know his mods. Anyways, with the stock cam and 1.9 rockers, power starts dropping off at right about 6k even. Even still its a good idea to raise the limiter a few hundred rpms higher than that so that you can shift later putting you closer to the powerband in the next gear. My dad has the stock cam, 1.9 rockers, OR pushrods, and 85lb. valvesprings on his GTP. His limiter is at 6600rpm with shifts at 6200.

I'm past peak power but my cam/tb/exhaust/hvii make my torque curve last longer. and like dbtk2 since we have wide ratio trannys it'* good to shift higher so your closer to your powerband in the next gear.

How could you forget?!?!!! He IS on crack.

Add this L36 to the list of soon-to-be (spring) M90'ed L36'*. That is gonna wake ALOT of SE'*, GT'*, SLE'*, and SSE'* up. Can't wait to see how many members of BC end up with one of these kits.
