The 00 style box is much better flow. There'* nothing to customize or fight. It'* a simple plug and play along with the coolant bottle. While you are there by the strut towers, we should probably add an STB (strut tower brace) to help the handling you were talking about.

Since you don't like loud engine noise..you are going to want a semi stock or stock airbox.

ill keep a lookout for all that. but its not that i hate engine noise, its just the whine that i hear, that almost sounds like the supercharger. ive heard 3.8'* with it and without it, i wish i knew what it was but im not going to make a stink about it cause its not like im trying to show off an xp cam cause i dont have that.

That whine is most likely your power steering pump.

i know where the power steering fluid is. i actually added lukas about 4yrs ago. but i dont think its the power steering cause it makes the whine when at idle and the wheel straight. plus ive heard other 3.8'* without the noise and some with the noise. (look at me im getting anal now!)

Like a Ford..the 3.8 pump can be noisy at idle. I'd double check the fluid.
