I'm working on digitizing my design for a heatsheild, I'm getting within two of ambient during extended idling.
Part number for the rice pipe is in my sig.

im not a professional but why not just buy a composite intake i saw one somewhere but im not sure where it was at, which is really a great idea because the composite materials do not transfer heat like the metal ones so the only thing you need to deal with is keepin the car from suckin it (hot air) up through the filter.
