Default Hey everyone, new to these forums:

I have a 2002 SSEI, and I just recently got some mods for my car... So far I have:

Cold Air Intake, 3" Downpipe, 3.4" Modular Pulley System, Gatorback Supercharger Belt, Autolite Spark Plugs, (1 heat range colder), and a 180' T-Stat. (None of these are installed yet. Just ordered em.) One big thing I have to do is check my fuel pressure after the pulleys are changed...

Anyways what I think I need next is definately to reprogram my PCM, get some headers, and ported exhaust manifolds to reduce the knock retard.

Anyone got any suggestions? Im always open to suggestions.

Headers OR PEMs Right now PEM'* would probably be ok. Checking fuel pressure is a good idea, but if you're modding, scanning for KR is a MUST (before and after pulley swaps). It sounds like you got a nice little start there though.
By the way add "SSEi" in additon to "2002 Bonneville" to your signature so you don't have to say it each time.

as dillcc mentioned your KR is very important...make sure you get it scanned and that you have minimal if any KR.

If you want to run a really small pulley your going to most likely need headers, pems work down to a good point too, but if you dip down below 3.2" I'd say headers are required...some members have proved that wrong but that seems to be the general rule in the GP world.

Also I'd say rockers/springs are the next step for ya, after the PCM of course..

welcome..where ya from.

I think after I install all those parts I listed, I will go with a new PCM, Headers, and Rockers/Springs...

Its hard to decide between the headers or manifolds, but I think headers will be my best bet for now.
