Welcome to the Bonneville Forum. Hopefully a gearhead will be by soon with an idea. Been there myself and God Bless OnStar.

Well, try some WD40 in the lock. A small chip may be stuck and that may knock it loose.

Ok, stupid question here. Are you using the right key? The door and ignition are a different key. My wife did that once. Left with my car with only the ignition key and locked the door.

ahh i guess im not, the old owner only gave me one key and i guess thats just for the ignition. i think seh said she lost it or something along with the remote and stuff.. would it be expensive to go to the dealership for this key?

I couldn't even tell you. I would suggest going on Ebay and get a keyless remote. Then go in the tech info area. There are instructions there on how to program the remote. But that is your problem. Wrong key.
