Good Point, maybe it is the oil pressure kit?

I will pull mine this winter but I doubt I'll find anything. Just made a 100 mile cruise to the airport and the cool temps and empty hiways had me playing with the aerotech

only kr I was getting was the shift points 1-2 3 tops.

It'* no sham. In fact, Scott Cook reinstalled mine after I put the LS6 springs in after 3k miles and experiencing valve float with stock springs so they can't blame improper install. Rogue, I too have a first run set from the first batch. I emailed Scott with all the info but haven't heard back from him. I pulled my valvecover on Saturday, after 25k miles this is what mine look like:

Chris - I don't recall if I saw your email today, but please understand that I receive about 200 every day. I do respond to ALL emails within one business day, so if you didn't get a response from me today, then I didn't receive your email.

For everyone - we understand the issues, we're very close to understanding the cause, and a solution should be announced within the next couple of days. And yes, Harland Sharp and INTENSE will stand behind our products and their warranties.

Thanks for your patience everyone!

So Scott, are you saying that this problem is with all of the 1.9 HS rockers or just the first batch :?:
Mine look fine after 5,000 mi but what about after 25,000 mi :?:

It currently appears to be a problem with the spec of the pedestal. The outside range of the pedestal spec (i.e. pedestals that barely conformed to the spec range) appears to cause the wear we are seeing. We have seen wear on rockers in as little as 1000 miles so it does not appear to be mileage related.

This appears to be happening in a very small percentage of the rockers out there. So far we have 10 cases (with Chris now maybe 11) in about 500 sets sold. Harland Sharp is doing their best to come up with a proper solution and we will make that solution available to all owners of the 3rd gen rockers not just those currently affected.

We want to thank those of you who provided helpful information to us during the last few weeks. Working together, we were able to find the cause and implement a solution rather quickly, and without your help and support this would not have been possible.

Here is a link to a new thread with details of how we plan to resolve this problem.

Kudos, gentlemen. Think you'll see any legal action taken by those parties who are still angry about shavings in their motors?

I seriously doubt INTENSE would be able or willing to discuss that in a public forum, and I seriously doubt any liability could be implied by a 'performance part'. Most companies don't VOLUNTARILY take care of issues like INTENSE does.

I guess they probably wouldn't answer that question, would they?

It seems like some of the unhappy people wouldn't hesitate to sue if they happen to lose a motor. I guess my question should be more along the lines of "Will these people have a legal leg to stand on if it were to happen?"
