links would be nice

Here's a link from 3800Pro..... they're probably a little less biased over there, plus you can get the official Intense stance on the problem.

Thanks for the heads up Rod.
I will plan on checking mine out over the winter. It's a fast easy check if I just do the front bank.

Edit - After reading thru all 8 pages, I think I will take the front valvecover off this weekend for a peak.

I'd like PDad to do it also since he has my original set which were the 1st production set. My current set showed no signs of this wear and they have been on for over a year.

Had my valve covers off a few weeks ago for new gaskets and everything was fine.
I have no way to test the spring tension but did retorgue the rockers and inspect valve guide clearance. I should have removed a few and inspected for wear but there was nothing alarming so I buttoned it up?
I've got about 20,000 miles on my 1.9:1 and they were used on 8 Ball first for about 5k before Rogue went 1x cam. I would expect some wear by this point and who knows maybe I'll find out this winter ;)

Well, I took off the covers for an inspection today.
All is A OK. :D
Not even a hint of wear.
Only 6,000 km

I took a peak at mine before I left for Toronto. Almost 1 year and 20,000 miles showed nothing out of the ordinary.

Maybe it's a sham :!:
Bad press aimed at INTENSE to hurt them.
Only reason I could see for that kind of wear would be insufficient lubrication.
Maybe I installed the oil pressure mod for a reason. ;)
