Alrighty, car is prepped. Miscellaneous stuff cleaned out including stereo box (damn that thing is heavy), left with some tools, multimeter, scantool, spare ignition coil, work gloves, spare tire and jack. I figured out the ELC, put in the toluene.

Any other tips?
What is the module above the airline selector valve?

John, you're ready. Drop your front tire pressure to 25psi when you get there. Lower it to 20 if you can't hook up with a preload of no less than 1500 rpm'*.

Cordova, same place as the Midnight Madness last week.

Bill, I hadn't even thought about lowering the tire pressure, thanks. I'm hoping I can get some ice bags on the way.

I rarely run the AC anymore, and I have no traction control (one of the 4 options my car does not have).

I'm pretty sure, I have an SSE with the button spaces for tranny modes, TC, and ECC (not an option till 94 I think). But, the only buttons I have there are the tranny modes. Nor do I have a traction control module under the hood.

Traction was standard on the SSE, but you may not have the switch to disable it. Your PMV assembly should have a silver pump on top with a yellow sticker. I'm betting you DO have it. In fact, if you disconnect the PMV assembly under your airbox, you should get a Traction and ABS warning light. Run like that.
