Yep.
Yes, however the powerband shifts upwards with a cam and the car will feel slower on the low end so a higher stall converter will get you up into the power quicker for better acceleration. This is not so critical on a boosted car but its very critical on an N/A car.

My car didn't 'feel' slower at any rpm.
However i know that i could benefit from a higher stall and gear ratio.
