Please don't misunderstand me. I wasn't stating that the CAI was better but I was just curious about what I observed while I was installing the FWI. It seemed that they both took air from the same area with the CAI having a shorter, less restrictive run. I'm obviously missing something, hence my curiousity.
I should also have added that I was very impressed with Intense's speedy delivery. I managed to get it in without my wife having a chance to ask what I was up to.
All told tonight I worked aabout 2 1/2 hours which included rotating the tires, relubing the urethane sway bar bushings and installing the FWI. Not bad for an evening's work.

Thanks for the complaments Guys I really like my FWI.
and Yes Todd i do have to trim dow the tubing a bit.

as a side note to you guys that have or will get one .
I did notice( or at least it seems) Today that as the tubing begins to relax
is tends to strech a bit so .... like me you may want to install and then trim.

any one else notice this?

Thisfender well intake wouldn;t work with a supercharged bonnie? the hose and filter dont seem to cost that much would be a cool intake for my SSEI . Im doing the intake and exhaust lettin her breath good
