yeah, you're right - we are starting to get some characters on this forum. of course, he'* been here longer than you, and has some 30 times your post count, has a time slip (and no, they don't have typos on time slips), and willwren verified that he used toluene. of course, I suppose you could question willwren too... he'* got a 95 that ran faster than what it should have...

so watch the name calling, and remember that statements like that often come back to bite in the butt...

My tranny is slipping and about to take a dump. Looks like no #'* till next summer when I'll have 3g'* to build the tranny. As far as I know smellbird has the fastest L36 bonnie track time to date.

Last off-topic post for Pat:

I assisted him in his fuel mix online (Privately) as he prepped for the track. Higher octane would have helped him only slightly. Ideal track conditions prevailed. It couldn't have been any better.

No other member was present, but his slip has been verified, and I trust him implicitly. If you have doubts as to the authenticity of his slip, it has been verified by Rogue, who is the final authority as far as this Forum is concerned. Any 'anomolies' would be obvious in that slip. Carefully examine the ratio of first eighth to second eighth, as well as 60' and ET vs. Trap. It'* an L27 slip.

As far as my time in my 95 SLE is concerned, it was witnessed personally by about a dozen members of this Forum who were standing there when I ran it. EchoSSEi was in the left lane right beside me. And keep in mind it'* much quicker than that slip. Our track conditions were HORRIBLE that day.

Back to your regularly scheduled topic.

I'll agree that 95nSta will probably be the quickest L36 here soon, and I look forward to him breaking into the top-25 list that seems to be taken over with 'whiners' recently.

You guys are jumping on Ryan for no reason - Yes, he called out 1993 SLE on the time slip and maybe that was the wrong way to go about it - But to come on here and attach Ryan'* integrity and call him a tool because of it. What a joke!

I don't care who it is or how many posts he has. If Rogue himself (which I've known personally for a few year now) posted a new PB of 11.8x @ xx.xx MPH (.9 sec. lower then his PB - exactly like 1993 SLE) while in the other lane someone runs a 12.7x @ 107 MPH (his PB) and you asked him what he did different and he said "I put in some 95 octane and cleaned out the car" - I would call him out as everyone else should too!

I was the first to congrat 1993 SLE because I know a 15.6 can be pulled off esp. since Ryan had a 15.7 and he has room to improve in the 60'. Then when he said his mods and track prep it kind of through me for a loop. I guess he must have taken out 900+ lbs. out of his car? Or maybe it was that magical 95 octane? Then Ryan finds out that last time he was at the track he ran a 16.5 @83 MPH. hummm. . . This is where it gets interesting! WOW. . . Kind of funny how in the left lane he *cough* I mean someone ran exactly the same time as his previous PB.

But since it has already been verified, sign-sealed-and closed; I guess it must be true.

1993 SLE I think a lot more people would believe you if you could post another 15 sec slip from that night without a 16.x in the other lane. Since you’re into the mid 15'* you had to have more then one run breaking into 15 that night?!?! IF YOU CAN DO THAT I'LL BE THE FIRST TO APPOLOGISE AND I'M SURE RYAN WILL BE RIGHT BEHIND ME. But until you do I won't believe it and neither will Ryan.

I don't even know why someone brought up WillWren'* time. No one dough’* WillWren'* time in his 95SLE because like Will said there was a dozen other members there and it'* in the range of what a stock '94-'95 L67 should run. I guess everyone wants to discredit my time or the mods I have done in my '92 SSEi too - O Yah - you can't because it was at IDD and a half dozen members witnessed it and looked under my hood!

Getting back on subject:
I agree that 95nSta should take over that crown but until he runs at a track Seth is the quickest L36 Bonne.

Yah, I think all his mods are: Intense PCM, Intense 1:9 Gen III Rockers, Oil Restricted Pushrods, LS6 Valve Springs, Ported Exhaust Manifolds (PEM'*), Hi Flow Cat and Resonator, and a Custom Intake.

As much as I'm really intrigued by this conversation, I agree that we should get back to the posted topic.

Smellbird, if you stick your head in here, can you remind us of your PB?

95naSTA, if you stick a tranny in your car, can you set the NA Bonneville record?

As for Pat'* time..... send a PM as suggested.

I just wanted to get my comments in just like a lot of people did! Also I can assure you that a PM was sent! Hopefully we can come to a right conclusion through PM'* on a certain time.

95naSTA are you going to attempt a PB at the track before winter or are you going to hold out till new trans? I'm curious what you run compared to GP'* with your mods.
