I have a 93, which is the last year without a resonator, and an 80 series and it'* plenty loud (especially in below 0 temps like now).

I'd double check under your car to see what'* going on, perhaps you have a late 93, and maybe got a resonator put on from the factory. Other then that, a High flow cat really loudened up Haro'* old 95 SSEi with an 80 series muffler over his OE one.

they say 60 series are for sport compact cars? anyone ever used one?

My buddy put a 40 series on a Dodge 3.9L(?) and you could hear him go WOT over a mile away. That'* plenty loud.

well that all sounds good but if i really had a resonator on my car,were would it be.and as stupid as it sounds i have never seen a resonator.but i know i have an exhaust leak right on the EM.i think if i fixed that i might get my red eyes to sound perty savage.

a resonator would be after your cat, before your muffler if you have one..

oh ok then no. after my cat i have oviously my 80 series.so maybe if i fixed my leak from the exaust manifold,would my car sound a little louder?

If you fix the exhaust leak, your car will be slightly quieter.

If you fix your exhaust leak at the manifold, your car will actually run right with no KR. That should be your FIRST concern.

yeah get that leak fixed thats no good whatsoever oem cat or magnaflow or flowmaster or such? that will make it louder with the muffler u got if u dont already have one
