Wow. There was about a month between the recent posts on here lol.
Ferullo, did you get your exhaust done? And if so, what did you go with?

if your going for good sound and basic performance then it really doesnt matter wether or not you have a "true" duel exhaust, i have a magnaflow resonator on my 89 and then just 1 pipe back to the axles then it splits, no mufflers and yet not to loud in the car, its got a steady tone to it and it doesnt have the popping like most chevy motors lol

i think my exhaust sounds sweet. kinda sounds like a T/A with 6 cylinders at idle. i bought and made the cat to the mufflers and i paid to have the headers and the tips put on nice and straight. the headers downpipe is 3" which goes to a 3" cat all the way back to a dual 3" split. right after the split i have the mufflers on at angles. then some bends and the 4" tips at the end. i am finally completely DONE with my exhaust and could not be happier. no crush bends or nuthin nowhere, a true 3" all the way back. have got nuthin but the BEST feedback from everyone i know except on this forum cuz ppl think 3" is too big. anyone that would like to see in person and hear it will have to go to Intense Drag Day. i'll be there. its perfect for me. nice mean idle and a sweet WOT sound but i can still talk on the phone or listen to the radio with no problem.
here is wut i got...
SLP headers---$800
Summit Racing 3"inlet 3"outlet stainless steel hi-flow Cat---$100
2 J-bends and one 4 ft. section of 3" piping---$80
(used to make the middle section to the Y. i made custom Y to ensure no restriction)
2 Flow Sound chambered mufflers, 3" center inlet, 3" offset outlet---$30each($60)
(only reason i got these is cuz no one else has them, didnt want to be the same)
2 4" slant cut stainless steel chrome polished tips---$20each($40)
= BEAUTIFUL, but a little expensive, EXHAUST
just my thought

who makes the mufflers ?
do you have a resonator on your car, or just a straight 3" pipe.
it would be nice if you could make a video with sound.
