Default Exhaust

Hey Everyone,

I have a 2001 Bonneville SE and I am thinking of getting a new muffler or exhaust tips for my car. I have the factory muffler but I am looking for a nicer look ? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would be a good look for my car or maybe something that would improve performance ? Anyone have any pictures of their 2001 Bonneville ?

I am not sure how the exhaust runs on 2001 SE'*. Does it come out single or duals? Is there a cutout in the rear valance for duals? I know you could definitely change the muffler to a higher flow but I am not sure how the tips would come out.

If I were to put a new muffler on, what would be a good choice to go with ?

Do you want the best choice? I can make some suggestions but they are not cheap.

Personally I like Flowmaster. They should have an application to fit just about any model.
The sound is classic and the increase in H.P. will be noticeable. Don't think you can go wrong a Flowmater catback.

Now I want some help.....I've heard the SSEi'* and the SSE'* with the dual tips don't really benefit much from an aftermarket muffler. Confirmation from those that have heard or done this would be great. I had to change my Cat back in may (it sounded like a baby rattle), and had a hi-flow put in, and did notice a slight improvement in bottom end. A muffler would be much easier to replace, but more expensive due to the funny double output design.

Anyone?
