Exactly. The dyno should be consistant with itself (if its not you have other problems), so it doesn't matter if its off or not. It will show you the difference before and after, and that is what you're looking for. It would be nice if it were accurate so you could brag about the numbers, but its not that big of a deal.

SO i should probably go "teach" the car the old stock airbox some huh?

Yes, a L27 is much better, in many ways, with it'* mouth opened rather than puckered up.

It'* easier to go from puckered to wide open. Going from wide open to puckered is like putting a big plug in it. Try disconnecting the battery overnight (even for a couple minutes).
