DHP does offer reflash gard but you have to ask for it. Trust me it'* worth the money, because when I went to have my case learn done they tried to re-flash the PCM even though I told them not to do so. Saved all my goodies .
The reflash guard offered by DHP isn't something in the PCM that prevents the dealer from flashing it. You pay the extra $50 or whatever for it, and if they ever do reflash it, you can send it back to DHP and they will program the DHP programming into it again, it doesn't stop anybody from reflashing the PCM. There is no way they could program that into it, you can't stop a Tech 2 very easily.

Double check there add. All I know is that they tried to reflash it. When I heard the dumb a$$ that tried to do it say that he tried and it wouldn't reflash; I was happy, but you better believe I raised holly hell about it even when I told them not to do so. Better yet; let me go and check the add. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong. I can addmit it.

Good man for admitting when you're wrong.
So, I guess this should be a good word of advise for whomever gets their PCM performance re-programmed. The dealer can reflash it back to the original program.

The advantage ASEChips has is that their program resides in a removable chip. Their disadvantage is that it'* a generic program that can't be taylored to your specific mods.

So far, from what I've learned, my vote swings to DHP.

I sent an email to Charles Beyer of DHP. He says that this is the first he has heard of a DHP 00+ Bonneville.

Who is ZZP working with at DHP?

There is a DHP guy in the Detroit area, and that is who Zooomer buys his PCM'* from. Since Scott Cook is close to there he did Scott Cooks SSEi PCM'*, and since he has the programming for them from scott cook'* SSEi, he can do other SSEi'*, or at least this is what I have figured out, I am not sure if that is the whole story, but it is what I have figured out from what I have heard.

So if I'm running stock the ASE chip will be fine, but if I add rockers or a cam them I won't see any performance gains? :?:

With the stock chip or the ASE chip you will see a performance gain with rockers or a cam, but with a custom DHP you can set the car up for higher shiftpoints, higher idle (for cams), and just about anything else you want to change, because of this you can take more advantage of the high end power cams and rockers give, and you won't get an SES light with a cam. You can have the stock PCM with basically any mods you want, it just may not be the optimal setup.

Hope that helps.
