Default Road block-wire set.

Ok I hate it when a plan does not come together. I went to the local pro shop and ordered a set of blue Taylor wires. I went today and he told me he could not get them. I hate that....I was not planing on buying them over the net but I am thinking I have to. I also found out that O2 was $85 and I was shocked to find out that plugs were platinum. I guess that is the price you pay to have the higher model cars or when you was performance. I at least got the 180 ther. and new pcv valve....lol. So does anyone know where I can order my wire....DP?

Mike, Domestic Performance is a good option. Somehow I think online ordering might be the way to go

Mike where did you go to get your wires? And whats hype with Taylor wires? I gotta set of universal Accel 8.8 mm for a v8 got 2 extras (thank god didnt tie 1 properly got burned on the exhaust) no complaints with those and there much easier to come by.

Oh ya did you try lookin in the keystone catalouge?

Ty at DP doesn't sell Taylors......Taylors and MSD are widely recognized as the best performing wires available, but there are others very close. Even stock wires aren't a bad option, they just won't last as long, or handle aftermarket 'hotter' ignitions well.

DON'T run platinums in a SC car. They eat them for breakfast. Stick with copper plugs. My preference is the NGK V-Power TR55.

If you buy the Taylors on the net, and have trouble finding the right set, just buy the set for the 97+ GP.

Ditto on Gmpartsdirect for the O2 sensor. Part numbers in Techinfo.

I have noticed that most of the reply'* are from us residents...I would imagine that 40-50 us is about the same in Canadian dollars. I am thinking Red that I am going to go with accel just cause you can get them over the shelf. I have already bought the plugs so I will use them this time. I am thinking that my car has never had a tune up so it will run like a champ. I have yet to check the plugs but I know the wires are oringinal....I will know better after the weekend...if I get better gas milage than I know it was a good move to do..

Actually, I purchased mine off of Ty. He doesnt sell "stock" taylors. All of his are custom made (they are a little longer then stock and come in a much wider array of colors.) and a little more expensive than stock taylors.

www.gradprixstore.com has taylors in red or blue for $50 USD. www.GMPartsDirect.com has your o2 for about half price or less.
