Just a thought to check. I just had a bad vac leak and it turned out to be a cracked EGR tube, and that'* near the base of the SC. If it turns out to be that, let me know and I'll tell ya where I got a replacment.

I am certain my injectors are not seating correctly.
I called paul and talked to him about it, Im not satisfied with how deep the injectors go into the head, if the fuel rail was not there, the injectors would fall over.
Even using vasaline...
I have to try installing the injectors first then then the rail, which is nearly impossible, but ive done it before.

One thing I did before I installed my injectors was coat the bore of each injector hole liberally with vaseline. It'* a great product for lubbing holes and permitting the o-ring to slide in and out more easily.

But ya I had a harder time even then with pushing them it at first but eventually they slid in. It'* hard to know when they are all the way in cause they don't pop or snap into place. Only thing you have to go by is if the four mounting stands are flush with the bottom of the studs before you torque down the nuts.

You broke two studs torquing on your nuts so that tells me something was not right.

I hate talking about studs, nuts and lube cause everyone misinterprets and has nasty minds.

when I spray carb cleaner at the injectors the idle smooths out and it runs quite better.
My trims are decent under load, Long term hits 0 when shes wide open (only did that once or twice for a short second..dont wanna melt to much piston off.)

I have a second, nice fuel rail i got for free off of a 00 SSEi, actually, i might use that.
Is there a special release tool for the quick connects on the rail currently?

Did you change your fuel filter when you did the pump?

I havent done the pump yet.
My fuel pressure is decent...I wonder..if its too low will it make it run like crap low end?
I can re-install my AFPR if needed and test a bit more...
hmm..
But hiss is still audible..and carb cleaner makes it run better...

Poor fuel pressure will run you lean at the top end.

A leaky FPR will run you pig rich at the low end.
