Sounds pretty good! I have some similar parts waiting to go on

I always hear people talking about hot wire kits in addition to their high flow pumps. Although no one to my knowledge makes a hot wire kit for us 96-99 guys (Full throttle & Casper’* hotwire don’t work) are you going to beef up the wiring to the pump in any way?

exhaust pipes.

The hot wire kit is mandatory with the 255lpm pump.

Beef up the wiring?
If its needed..but I kinda doubt it..that pump should put out lots..
All I gotta really watch is when she hits third gear...does the fuel pressure drop?
My bet says..nope..not anymore!

I don't think so. Mine and John'* run great without the hotwire kit.

That'* the point to beefing up the wiring. The pump draws more power. The wiring is not large enough. The voltage drops and the pump runs at a lower pressure. The heavier wiring promotes a higher voltage......as much as 1.5 volts....so the pump will run faster and produce more pressure and flow.

edit...maybe it'* only for the newer Bonnes
.....maybe it'* a sales gimmick. Just reiterating what I read on the Vendor'* site.

If i was to update the wiring, it would be custom..and do-able.

Looks good! Tip for touch-up (I just did this today) get it on the car and heat-soaked at idle. Spray some wrinkle into the cap, and dab it on the spots you need to with a q-tip. Works great.

I can't even tell which damn rib I touched up this morning.
