I believe you could find plenty of interest. Change your title to mention something like Coolant Elbow idea. Mods will probably move it to Perf and Brain when they wake up as it is a brainstorm and would be great to thave.

The only catch I see is using an o ring very similar to the factory ones and having replacement o rings available for us crazy people that pull their intakes off for kicks.

I like it.!

I'm defintiely interested since I've replaced about 6 on my car already.
Will the machining be different from the size of the plastic since it has a different expansion rate?

no it would be the same size on the ends where it goes into the intake and behind the pulley stuff. yes i will have a supply of the Orings availible ( i would include extra with the part if you wanted them....i know i take my car apart for fun too!)
it will be made from the same grade of metal the intake is made out of! i guess i better get working on some then!!!

Directly under your nose. Nosedrive that is. Same location as the coolant outlet on the 93, just makes a 90 degree toward the firewall and goes into the accessory bracket. Yeah..accessory bracket...lol

I'd be interested in this. I haven't had to take my intake off YET, but I do know that the shop that replaced my LIM gaskets installed a new elbow during the repair (man I can't wait for my warranty to wear out!).

Have a price in mind yet? Are they going to be annodized (or hard annodized)?
