Default CAI heat shield - New design w/picture

Tried something a little different for a heat shield. Used 1/8" plexi and heat molded 2 pieces that fit together around the base of the filter. I will use a black clamp around the circumferance of the shield to hold it in place so it will match the black filter base. Going for the "nearly invisible" look with this one. . The clamp isn't shown in the picture because I didn't happen to have the one I want and suffice it to say the temporary clamp I'm now using wouldn't look to hot in the picture.

Very similar to my plans when I had an RX 4750. I have a monster heat gun and was going to bend it around.

Logan, Thanks for the reply. I wish I could crank one out for you but man this custom fit stuff takes a lot of time! I probably have about 4 hours in this one and my labor rates are HIGH

Just curious, what size RX-4750 is that? 6inch, 8inch, or 9 inch? (I think those are the three)
